Packs of supplies for homeless community members
The number of Australians homeless or at risk of becoming homeless is rapidly increasing, Help us to support these people.
Our Community Centre is hosting an event as part of Homelessness Week in August 2022.
We are hoping to secure a supply of coats, hygiene packs and other items to distribute to community members / families experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
We aim to help keep them warm through winter, make their experience more manageable while searching for housing, and bring smiles to their faces, and this is what your donations would support.
Due to current housing crisis the number of people and families sleeping rough or homeless is rapidly growing and more people are being forced into unsustainable or unsafe living environments. Many families in our community are resorting to living in tents which is unsustainable in the longer term.
