Tropical Cyclone Seroja

Give what's needed

Solar hot water system

Pensioners impacted by Tropical Cyclone Seroja and then cancer, struggling to afford fuel to be able to support daughter

Pensioner husband and wife's property was impacted by Tropical Cyclone Seroja, with part of the roof being ripped off. The wife was diagnosed with breast cancer soon after the cyclone and after her treatment finished her husband was also diagnosed with cancer. They live alone on a rural property but travel long distances weekly to support their daughter who struggles with her mental health and has two teenage boys who have autism.
Their hot water system was destroyed in the Cyclone and they have been without hot water since.
