Teenaged Pregnant woman recently relocated to be near support network needing support to afford food

Teenaged pregnant woman has just relocated to be closer to her support network after biological father of the baby decided he did not want to be in a relationship any longer.

Currently not working due to change of location. Was working before the move. Currently commencing at a new high school to complete as much education as possible before baby arrives.

Did not have a lot of financial buffer but the combination of a unexpected move and no longer working has eaten through the savings she had. Has applied for centerlink but waiting for this to come through.

Seeking support in the form of grocery vouchers to help make ends meet until centerlink payments are approved.

Our organisation provides support to expecting and parenting teens. Our young parents are living below the poverty line and experiencing multiple and competing priorities for their limited incomes. Your donation will help to lower their social isolation and strengthen their economic position.
