Family on low income who were affected by flooding earlier in the year are struggling to make ends meet. Client's elderly mother is not critically ill in hospital and she needs to travel daily to Ipswich General Hospital to visit and ensure she is getting necessary care. The family have little disposable income and are struggling with fuel costs and outstanding bills and general cost of living.
She is very anxious about her mother but having to borrow money in order to visit her and this is adding to her distress.
