Young lady who lost everything in Lismore flood seeking assistance to furnish new apartment

A young lady was living by herself in a unit in Lismore centre at the time of the February flood. She was not expecting the flood to impact her property but she ended up being rescued off her roof and lost all of her belongings. She spent six months moving between different emergency accommodation, as far away as Brisbane, until she was offered a unit by the Department of Housing where she is happily settling. She is currently studying early childhood education which she enjoys but the pay is very low and she has not been able to afford to properly furnish the home. She has requested help to purchase some furniture and with food and fuel vouchers. She does not believe that she has applied for Givit previously.
