Storms and Flooding

Nail gun, saws & planer

Lost everything in the flood and rescued from the roof. Trying to repair home & stay warm for winter

Since being rescued from the roof I have been camping in the shell of my house without a kitchen. Because the water rose to 1.6m inside the house I lost everything. I am repairing my home with meagre resources and skills. With winter setting in, to maintain my health, I am prioritising building a functioning kitchen. There are two main things I need to fix the kitchen and make it flood resilient. First, I need power tools. Second, I require a stainless steel kitchen cabinet, two stainless steel kitchen benches, as well as stainless steel kitchen shelving. I am also requesting funds to repair a back sliding door and window which were damaged when I escaped rising flood waters. Repairing the back door will erase a traumatic memory. Overhauling the kitchen will assist me to move forward.
