Client lost everything during COVID period

Client lost everything during COVID. His relationship with his partner, his business/ career, his house, and his mental breakdown. Alcohol dependent, as it was the only to cope with stress.

Client was referred to our program by the hospital due to his admission to major depression, anxiety and strong suicidal ideation. Started to engage with us in April 2022. Unemployed,

Throughout the year, client suffered Multiple falls and head injuries and broken ankle and rips due to alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Client was very frustrated and hopeless for a time. However, with the support from our program and his dedication on his recovery journey, client has been sober since early this year and recently has successfully obtained a unit from the department of housing.
