Quilt - queen
Homeless People require material goods when they move into accommodation.
Our organisation runs crisis accommodation hostels for homeless people including families escaping from domestic violence. People in this situation have little or no material goods, and are supported by case managers who help them find accommodation. When this is found case managers often request a 'move-in' pack of essential items as a 'hand-up' for people to survive the first couple of weeks in their new accommodation. Volunteers assemble the move-in packs which comprise items such as enough food to last for two weeks, cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils (pots/pans etc), cleaning products, toiletry items and bedding. This request is for quilts.
