Clothing for homeless people at mental health unit

A Mental Health Unit in VIC has 1,200 admissions annually and the Unit Manager has identified that many patients admitted have no care or personal items. Around 40% of admissions are homeless. With these patients, their clothes need to be thrown out when they arrive and they require new clothes when they leave. Currently, nurses are paying out of their own pockets to get the basic clothing for these patients. Upon hearing of this, volunteers have offered to seek provisions of clothing to provide to homeless inpatients. The items on this list are from the advice of the nurses.

Male, female or unisex. Ideally casual styles. Especially in need as we come into winter months as once patients are discharged, most return to living on the streets.
