Homeless family in need of phone to access services/find housing
A young family with 2 children with disabilities currently living in a family member's lounge room following eviction from their rental due to it being sold. Mum is a NZ citizen and not entitled to income support other than FTB and the family were hit hard by COVID 19 interrupting work and have used up what savings they had.
Both parents are struggling with navigating systems for housing support and caring for their children including 6 year old non-verbal daughter and 18 month old baby.
Mobile phone was broken and they do not have money to replace it.
