Young mum to be, has multiple challenges and complexities, wanting to make the best life for herself and her unborn child

Young mum to be (18), history of anorexia/eating disorder, anxiety and depression. Other mental health concerns currently being investigated. History of very complex trauma including physical, emotional and sexual abuse from age 7. Also has challenges associated with mild intellectual disability and FASD.

Has lived transient lifestyle, currently housed in short term emergency accommodation awaiting suitable placement - intake in progress for supported housing program. Also seeking supports for mental health, AOD and disability support.

Has partner who is a little younger and not currently receiving any payments at all. Financially supporting herself and her partner paying rent and all other living expenses, as well as trying to gather items required for baby and to make a home in future. Relying on services for food hampers etc.

Very minimal informal supports. Desperate to make a better life for herself and her little family.
