Young person with disability leaving care to live independently

The young person spent a decade in the care of Child Safety and has recently self-placed with his parent. He has Autism and ADHD. In 2021 the young person left school and he is now keen to start applying for jobs. He has linked himself in with a job network provider. His only laptop died recently. He has goals to obtain his learners permit so needs to practice online for the test. He needs the laptop for training, applying for jobs, and accessing services. He is not yet in receipt of Centrelink.
