Elderly Client is extreme financial hardship

My elderly client has been in financial hardship, He used to get by doing odd jobs for neighbouring farms, but since the bushfires and then COVID lockdown he has been unable to get any work. He has even started collecting and chopping firewood to get some money for food which due to his disability he should not be doing. Unfortunately I have found out he has been giving most of the donated food he has received to his 2 dogs instead of himself. He is struggling day to day and is barely meeting the cost of his medication. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
