Single mother with 2 children suffering financial abuse

Single mother with 2 children approached our service for assistance as her current tenancy was ending due to owner moving into property. Due to the rental crisis the only property she was able to secure was quite above her affordability but she accepted to avoid homelessness. When we connected her with financial support worker, it came to light she has been suffering financial abuse from the father of her children who regularly threatens her if she does not send him money. On top of this, an error occurred and rent came out twice this week for, leaving her without money for food. As she has already been accessing emergency relief due to the financial abuse she has been knocked back for assistance as you can only access emergency relief with most agencies once every 3-6 months.
Daughter has recently had to change to schools and her new school requires a BYO digital device which the family do not have access to or the funds to purchase
