Youth Program support needed - essential items required

Youth program running in Fitzroy Crossing for a number of years. Since the flooding event of January 2023 more young people have been attending and funds have now diminished. Urgent support is needed for upgrading and purchasing of new equipment to cater to all needs of the young people. Ages range from 2 - 18 years with youth with complex needs and disabilities attending 3 times a week. The program includes: cooking, sports and rec, gaming activities, support services etc. Approx 6 staff are rostered to engage with up to 100+ youth in a remote and sometimes challenging environment. A lot of the youth were impacted by the flooding of last year and have been living with family enduring overcrowding, and some are now living in temporary accommodation units waiting for their homes to be rebuilt. A number of the youth have lost all clothing and belongings, are disengaged in education and society, and some of the youth require a safe space due to issues at home.
