Young single mother lives with her two children. She is a very resilient mother who cares deeply for her children. The children have severe learning difficulties and require stability in their lives to support their day to day living. The family was completely cut off for three days due to the floods and without any outside contact. The rain water leaked through the roof, septic tanks were picked up by the force of the water and were spilling throughout the property. The family have lost all food due to damaged electricity and basic household items have been contaminated. They live in a rural area and only travel to town once a month for groceries. Replacing some basic household items would provide some stability back into her home and help her children.
