Parent with 3 young children evacuated from rental home due to Oct 2022 floods
Parent with 3 young children whose rental home was inundated with flood waters in Oct 2022. The family was evacuated and stayed in temporary accommodation until they were able to find another rental property. The family are resilient, resourceful and reluctant to accept assistance.
They endured significant loss of belongings with no contents insurance, but used their initial Govt emergency payments diligently to replace essential items. They have not been able to replace their lawn mower so they are paying to get their lawns mowed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
