Beananging Kwuurt Institute (BKI) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal organisation located in Queens Park Western Australia. We offer emergency relief for families in the community who are experiencing hardship, and work to benefit the Aboriginal community and inspire our people to know they are valued and where they are now is not their future

Beaucare Inc

Beaucare exists to strengthen our communities and provide opportunities for people to maximise their quality of life.

Beaucare aims to achieve this by:

Providing direct assistance to people who require relief from disadvantage
Researching needs and working with the community to find ways to address those needs.
Fostering strong cooperative relationships and networks with the aim of strengthening our communities.

Beaucare provides a broad range of community services. These include child care, family support, youth development, services for the frail aged and people with a disability and community centre coordination.

Our administration is based at Beaucare Community Centre at 44 Tina Street Beaudesert. We provide services to people in surrounding communities including Tamborine, Logan Village, Jimboomba, Flagstone, Cedar Vale, Bromelton, Rathdowney, Kerry, Beechmont and Canungra.

activity with Indigenous culture. This has its roots firmly with local leaders and Elders who paved the way for our
organisation to house and develop our community – local Yugambeh people and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander families who call this country home. Our community ways have established a vision for our community
based on our urgent need for sustainable housing and community development that will provide homes and a
community for our people.

Bellarine Living and Learning Centre

Whittington’s Bellarine Living & Learning Centre (BLLC) is a not for profit neighbourhood house that has been open since 1984.

BLLC brings people together to connect, learn and contribute to their local community. We welcome people of all ages, abilities and walks of life, creating opportunities for people to enrich their lives through connections they might not otherwise make.

Bella's Footprints Foundation

We educate and raise awareness for the dangers of button batteries ingestions in children amongst parents, care givers and he wider community.
We offer financial support for children injured by a button battery (currently 20 children a week present to ED's in Australia, 1 in 3 are left with permeant injuries)
We campaign for government changes to legislation surrounding packaging, warning labels, secure batteries compartments in all products, and the positioning of button batteries retail instore.
We also report unsafe products containing button batteries to the ACCC for a product recall.
We recently contributed to a world first helping the ACCC introduce a new button battery safety and information standard here in Australia effective from 22nd July 2022.

Islander Solidarity Group meets regularly to
share information and plan community and public
events, like cultural awareness workshops with
schools and organisations, and events in the Bush
Tucker garden. We have several public events through the year.

Bendigo Community Health Services

We have cared for the Bendigo community since 1974. Our charter is supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable clients in the community. We also support new refugee families arriving in Australia, particularly from the Karen, Afghan and South Sudanese communities. Our main areas include medical practices, allied health (podiatry, diabetes and chronic disease management), child and family services, alcohol and other drugs support, counselling and mental health, Settlement Services.

Bendigo Foodshare

Bendigo Foodshare's vision is to reduce food poverty in central Victoria. We do this by rescuing and distributing food that would otherwise go to waste and by supporting skill development programs that help reduce food insecurity.

Bendigo Neighbourhood Hub

We are a community organisation that provides programs, services, resources and activities to people living within the City of Greater Bendigo. Our core focus is on providing support services to individuals, families and groups in order to enable them to experience success within their own lives and within the broader community. While we support all people in our community, our main demographic is supporting people from refugee background, older people, those who are isolated or experiencing disadvantage and members of our LGBTQIA+ community.
