The impact your monthly gift makes
For three years, Caboolture couple Pat and Mary^ called a tent their home.
Every night brought uncertainty. They faced violence and theft of their belongings, bad weather, health challenges, and language barriers. They took turns to sleep each night so one person could keep watch over their few precious belongings.
Then, after years of hardship, they were finally given the keys to a home of their own. But it was empty.
Thanks to GIVIT supporters, they received the essentials they needed to start again - furniture, kitchen supplies, groceries, a fridge, a mobile phone, and more. These were the first new belongings Pat and Mary had owned in over 10 years.
