Accounts Assistant (Part-time)

  • Part time (12 months fixed term) - 12 hours per week – flexible between Monday to Friday

  • Working from our inclusive Milton office or WFH once training is complete

  • SCHADS Award 2.1 - $36.22 per hour plus leave loading plus super plus NFP salary packaging. 

About the Role

You’re organised, proactive and task focused, with a talent for getting things done efficiently and accurately. Excited by the opportunity to be part of the team behind one of Australia’s most innovative and impactful not-for-profits, you’ll thrive in a role that combines financial administration and attention to detail.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for recording daily donations, processing and reconciling relief purchases, and ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date. Whilst you’ll follow established procedures, you’ll also enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with the small but friendly Finance team.

Confident using MYOB, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams, you’re comfortable working across multiple software platforms and take pride in maintaining well organised, accurate digital filing systems and online records.

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience in accounts payable and or receivable in a similar role. 

  • Experience using MYOB and Office 365. 

  • Outstanding attention to detail ensuring the accuracy of the records and invoices. 

  • Good organisational and time management skills. 

  • Great at communicating within the GIVIT team. 

  • Strong work ethic and deadline driven. 

  • Passionate about helping the community.
