Single mum to 11yo and 7yo. She separated from her ex-partner (dad to the children) following long term FDV. She is also experiencing significant financial hardship and going through court processes. She reported of her children not having any Christmas gifts during the holidays which upsets mum. The children look forward to having some small celebration during Christmas; however, this seems to be difficult as reported by mum. She advised that she feels her mental health is impacted due to her inability to cater to the children's needs.
She feels extremely low thinking the children are suffering due to the parents' separation and their impact on their overall wellbeing. The family is socially isolated with no family support around.
