Support to purchase Gardening tools for kids
GIVIT
As part of our offerings at the Education Pathways Program, we have a little literacy group for children aged 6 to 10 who are currently living in supported accommodation after experiencing homelessness and family violence.
Our program focuses on building foundational literacy skills in a safe and nurturing environment. To further enrich the children’s learning experience and support their overall development, we are planning to introduce a gardening component into the group sessions.
Gardening will provide the children with valuable hands-on skills, promote responsibility, encourage teamwork, and support their emotional wellbeing while reinforcing learning in a fun and engaging way.
