Support requested to help a family with five children have bare necessities during a financially difficult time of the year.
Christmas 2025
We are requesting support to help a family with five children. The children range in age with the youngest being just 9 months old. This family are currently in an extremely financially difficult situation. They have just been informed that their private rent has been increased. Prior to this the family were just scraping through with enough money to pay for private rent, utilities and basic necessities such as groceries. Now that rent has been increased they do not know how they can afford the bare necessities such as groceries, let alone think about getting any Christmas gifts for their children. The mother of this family is disabled and therefore the work hours that the father can do are very limited although he does work casually as able.
