This woman is 15 weeks pregnant. She has a history of domestic violence and homelessness. She is currently living in a Department of Housing residence and has been getting harassed and has been physically assaulted by her neighbors, however Department of Housing has refused to transfer her and are threatening eviction. Her partner currently can't work due to a previous back injury. Work Cover are refusing to make payments due to administration errors on his file and he is ineligible to receive Centrelink benefits until 2026. They are currently surviving on her benefits alone which equates to approximately $500 a fortnight (jobseeker payment). They are struggling to cover their daily cost of living as well as obtain what they need for the baby.
