Young family with 6 month old baby struggling with the cost of living. Had to move house as the house they had lived in for the past 2 years required significant repairs due to damage from Cyclone Alfred. Family have limited informal supports and young mother has significant trauma history having fled a DV relationship, she suffers with panic disorder and CPTSD as a result, DV perpetrator was jailed for his actions. Having to move exacerbated her mental health due to concerns of having to leave the home - her 'safe place'. Partner is looking for work, has been home to help support partner and care for their baby.
Any assistance to provide relief in the way of vouchers to purchase household and/or grocery items, winter clothing for baby, linen, towels, fuel etc. would be most appreciated.
