55-year-old man experiencing homelessness for the first time, prior to this, he lived as a carer for his father for 6 years and his father’s passing left him with no place to live, prior to this client lived with his daughter but couldn't return due to overcrowding. Client has a history of employment working in warehouses as a forklift driver, with an intention to return to work once settled into housing again. While experiencing homelessness, client was the victim of a serious assault last year where he was stabbed in the neck, client has recovered very well physically and mentally and is engaging well in case management support and seeing a psychologist. Client has been offered long term housing and is eager to regain his independence, focus on his family and the things that make his life fulfilled cooking, connecting to nature, yoga and keeping fit.
