A single mom with two children (1.5 year-old and 3 weeks old baby) who lives in an emergency accommodation needs support
GIVIT
The mom is currently living in a one-bedroom unit at the inn. Mom been residing at the inn for a year now and has reported deterioration of her mental health due to her current living arrangements. While it is stable accommodation, she further reports constant stress, worry and fear while residing at the inn especially needing caring for two babies on her own. The current arrangement does not allow for privacy and safety to raise her children in, particularly due to limited space and the absence of kitchen facilities, which present daily challenges in caring for a toddler and a newborn.
As the there is a new-born and mom is relied on Centrelink payment, mom would need some support for the baby, such as a pram, which will help her to take the two babies out on he own.
