Mum seeking air conditioner to protect toddler with rare blood disorder from summer heat

A mum is seeking a portable air conditioner to help protect her young child from the heat. Her child is currently in hospital as a result of a rare and serious blood disease. Due to health complications caused by the illness, an air conditioner is needed for the child to return home and sleep in their room comfortably and safely, as the heat could pose a risk to the child's health.
