Mum, two school aged children and their cats have recently escaped DV and have needed to move into new home and schooling situations. They are engaging with services to gain suitable NDIS funding, and allied health involvement to deal with traumas and support their wellbeing. Unexpected costs including a broken-down major household appliance and need for a different second hand car have left the family struggling for Christmas.
