We work with parents facing a range of complex challenges that make everyday life more difficult, including intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, domestic and family violence, homelessness, and social isolation.
One parent we work with is a mum and nanna to multiple children with disabilities, and is experiencing domestic and family violence. Her ex-partner has left the house recently, which has created greater safety for the family, however has had a financial impact as he is no longer contributing to household bills and rent.
