This left him vulnerable and led to involvement in a toxic friendship group where drug use was a central activity. He has since removed himself from this environment and is committed to rehabilitation, demonstrating strong motivation to change.
However, leaving this group has resulted in severe social isolation, leaving him without friendships, purpose, or meaningful daily structure. This has had a serious impact on his mental health, contributing to ongoing depression.
He has identified building LEGO as a past hobby that brought him focus, calm, and a sense of achievement. Due to financial limitations, he is no longer able to engage in this activity, despite it having the potential to significantly support his mental wellbeing and recovery.
