Request support on behalf of a 79-year-old War Widow who has recently survived a case of elder abuse. She is a resilient and dignified woman who continues to face significant hardship following the loss of her husband of 55 years.
In addition to her emotional challenges, she has recently experienced financial hardship and had her Housing Commission unit broken into. During the incident, her bedroom was vandalised, and her queen-size bed base was broken in two. As a result, she is currently sleeping on a mattress placed directly on the floor.
Given her circumstances and limited financial capacity, I am seeking assistance with the purchase of a queen-size bed base to help restore her comfort and dignity.
