The home this client was living in was destroyed by the 2022 flood in Cabbone Shire. He moved into a transportable home of about 8m x 8m in total size. It does not have any air-conditioning installed (heating and cooling). During recent heatwaves it reached 35 degrees inside the home. The client spends most of his time at home on the deck area because it is slightly cooler than inside the home.
In 2025 the client's wife passed away from cancer, and he is struggling being on his own, only seeking companionship from his dog. The client is on a low income.
