This young person and their family have recently secured social housing. Previously he had been sharing a bed with his Mum as they only had 1 bedroom for the 4 individuals within the family unit. However, he does now have his own bedroom and is currently sleeping on an inflatable mattress. We are seeking a single bedframe and mattress so this young person can have a bed to sleep on.
This family has endured significant DFV and due to this, this young person has complex PTSD as they were a survivor of the physical abuse, they also struggle as they have a diagnosis of ASD level 2 and ADHD which provides barriers for him to make connections.
He has started high school this year and is requiring a pair of new formal school shoes to go with his formal uniform, their mother is a single mother who is unable to work due the complex needs of the children and is unable to source a frame, mattress and shoes for this young person.
