Young man with schizophrenia seeking assistance to replace broken freezer
GIVIT
The young man has diagnosed schizophrenia and ADHD, his sole income is a disability allowance. His fridge recently broke and he is unable to afford a replacement. He is on the NDIS however this service is unable to support him to buy a replacement. He has sought assistance through our organisationin Ballnina as his parents live in the town and he is not connected to similar services in Grafton due to the social barriers his disability creates. Not having a working fridge and freezer has impacted the quality of his diet and restricted access to fresh foods. Any assistance to help with a replacement would be greatly appreciated.
