Resident resides with his grandparents, and all were required to evacuate due to bushfire risk. Resident continues to experience financial hardship as had to purchase additional medication on top of general evacuation costs and missed out on eligible funding. Resident has been unable to access financial support due to rural location and limited services + pre-existing barriers. Resident has shared his grandparents provide significant support to him and he would appreciate opportunity to contribute something to household. The trauma triggered mental health resulting in a recent change in medication and out of pocket professional expenses causing additional unplanned financial hardship.
