This woman needs support because she escaped a violent relationship in which she was physically and emotionally abused. She left with nothing and has had to rebuild her life. She needs an operation for gynaecological reasons that will necessitate her missing work and income for at least two months; possibly six months. She also has a physical disability as a result of the abuse from her ex-husband. She needs surgery on her hip. She has rent to pay, medical bills, utility bills and she needs to find money for food. Her anxiety levels are high as she is concerned about how she will be able to keep living without income. She has no sick leave from her employer as she has had to use it for doctor's visits and days of poor physical or mental health.
