An aged pensioner who has lymphoma and whose legs swell over her feet, has a terrible infection in one of her legs. She has spent time in hospital with the infection, as she has had the infection for eight months now. She now must have a nurse come to her house every second day to check her leg and change the dressings, at a cost to her. Her leg doesn’t seem to be getting better, and this is a long-term situation for her. This pensioner already struggles financially and now it has become even more difficult for her. I am hoping to lessen her burden a little, by asking for grocery vouchers and free up some money for her health care and the costs of nurse visits.
