Request: Rooftop Tent for Vehicle – Safe Sleeping Accommodation
My client has been experiencing homelessness for over a year and is currently living in his car, which is his only asset. He has been sleeping in his vehicle around Northern Rivers NSW. He has been robbed and bashed and deals with some anxiety sleeping in his car.
Client has no family in his local area as his wife passed away from bowel cancer.
A rooftop tent would provide him with a safer and more secure place to sleep, protection from the weather, and improved stability while he continues to seek long-term housing. The client receives the Disability Support Pension and manages his own diverse health condition, including Type 2 diabetes.
