Elderly war veteran currently caring for First Nations Grandchildren due to DF&V & maternal mother drug addicted. Client is currently on a disability pension injured recently in a car accident. He has had his grandaughter 11 and grandson 10 since they were babies as he had to go to Family Court due to their safety. He is also in the process of getting his other grandson 7. Family were affected by recent floods resulting in beds and linen affected by mould. Client reluctantly looks for any support and likes to do it on his own but services are not advocating for him due to his age & financial hardship he is facing particular with the grandaughter into high school
