Currently supporting a family who became homeless due to DV. Mum has 5 children and pregnant with baby due next month. Unfortunately, Mum does not have any essential baby items at this stage. Family is in crisis accommodation and due to having to move around and couch surf often they have lost a lot of their belongings due to this. This family are a lovely family who are going through a difficult time and Mum is trying everything to get ahead including studying and looking for private rentals however due to housing crisis in Cairns she so far has not had any luck.
