Resilient mother who has experienced homelessness since early teens and fled high risk Domestic and Family Violence last year when pregnant. She has recently been housed in her long term Department of Housing property with her young baby. She entered property with her little belongings and requires support to set her home up for herself and her young baby. She is an amazing mother who is determined to create a safe, peaceful space for herself and her beautiful baby.

Our partner charity has requested this donation for someone they support who is doing it tough.

How it's helped before

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
