This lady is a woman of the world, with so many strengths and persons that look up to her for advice and support from her community. She has traditional connections to Geraldton in WA and South Australia. She contributes to her community through the production of art and bringing out the best of people that come to her for care.
She has recently worked through her own mental health crisis and moved house seeking safety and refuge. In this process she has lost her phone, and this has made it difficult for her to remain connected with her family, her community and her support workers. She is ready to take the next step forward in her recover and attend AOD counselling and rehab. Having a working phone to receive calls is an important resource so that she can navigate through this next step.
We are seeing the kindness and generosity from members of the public, to help support this lady acquire a new mobile phone and continue her healing journey.
