The sole caregiver to three children—two grown adults and one primary schooler—all living with multiple intellectual and physical diagnoses. Her days are filled with appointments, therapies, and the constant balancing act of meeting each child’s unique needs. Her nights are spent budgeting down to the last dollar, trying to stretch limited resources to cover food, medications and utilities. Despite her tireless efforts, the financial strain is relentless. The holiday season, meant to be a time of joy and togetherness, often brings added stress. The pressure to provide even the simplest gifts or a special meal weighs heavily on her heart. She dreams of more: a safe, warm home, a few presents under the tree, and the chance to give her children the joy they deserve. Any support this holiday season would not only ease the burden but also restore a sense of dignity and hope.
