53 year old male currently in temporary accommodation for the first time in over a year after experiencing long term homelessness due to current rental price increase. This individual lost his private rental due to financial hardship after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was also unable to work due to multiple knee replacements. During the recent cyclone this individual was sleeping rough and lost many of his personal items and belongings due to flood damage. He currently needs some extra support to make himself comfortable in his new accommodation and purchase a few household items and basic necessities while he gets some much needed rest in a safe/secure environment.
