I am writing to request urgent support for a young woman who is currently experiencing significant hardship. She is the primary carer for her two young children as well as her younger brother with a diagnosis of intellectual disability, ADHD and challenging behaviours, whom she has taken in due to ongoing family trauma within their home.
Despite her best efforts, she is facing considerable financial stress. The responsibilities of caring for three dependants and managing the impacts of trauma have left her with limited means to meet essential living costs, particularly food. She has shown remarkable resilience and commitment to her family’s safety and wellbeing, but the pressures are overwhelming.
We kindly request food and clothing vouchers to help relieve immediate financial strain and ensure the household can access nutritious meals. This support would provide vital assistance to the young lady as she works to stabilise her family situation and seek longer-term solutions.
