2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods

3 months ago, a young boy (aged 3) received a cancer diagnosis... turning his family upside down.
Living in a regional location, they have to travel long distances weekly for specialist treatments. Meaning they had to resign or take unpaid leave from their jobs. They had to move in for their parents to reduce costs and try to make ends meet as they pour all their time and efforts into their sweet boy and getting him the best care possible.
But in the recent floods, it was the grandparents family home that was hit hard... loosing everything and struggling to retain any of their personal belongings. but through it all, maintaining a safe and calm space for their son to rest and recover during treatments, to work together to keep their family united, has been their priority.
Here we seek support to help them through these challenging times and support them in rebuilding.
