Women who attend this ward are struggling with their mental health and have usually experienced trauma, domestic violence, homelessness and are missing their kids and family environment. We recognise that being admitted to an inpatient unit can be scary and overwhelming, particularly for those people who have experienced trauma and violence.
Being away from home is difficult, particularly when you are on an inpatient ward.
The donations that you provide will go towards a Christmas lunch where family, friends, children and loved ones can come to the ward and join in a festive lunch to celebrate Christmas in a safe supported environment.
