Single mum experienced DFV and is now struggling financially in a new property. She is in rent arrears and due to a mistake in completing paperwork , she has not been able to receive the Escaping Violence Payment yet. This whole ordeal has significantly taken a toll on her mental health and she has "hit rock bottom". She is in need of fuel and groceries so that she can afford to pay her rent.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
