Mum has been severely financially disadvantaged following divorce. Having sought loans to keep a roof over her head, she is now studying to enable her to get a job. She currently has limited funds for food, fuel or dog food – her comfort ad companion. She has no social supports and adult children live interstate. Her mental health has been impacted by the home being in a disaster zone – she has constant worries about possible future impact.
